PDFDesk combines multiple PDFs into one file, or splits a PDF into single-page files you can download as a ZIP. Everything is processed by your own browser - there is no upload step, no queue, and no copy of your document on anyone's server.
Most free online PDF mergers ask you to upload the file first. That is fine for a recipe, but contracts, invoices, applications, and unpublished drafts deserve more care: once a file leaves your device you rely entirely on the vendor's promises and retention policy.
PDFDesk takes a different approach. The merge and split logic runs inside your browser using WebAssembly, so the document bytes stay on your machine. You can watch the network tab while you work - no document data is transmitted.
Use merge when a workflow expects a single attachment: application forms plus supporting documents, scanned contract pages, or a week of invoices going into one email. Use split when a scanned stack contains separate documents that need to be filed individually, or when a long PDF has to be distributed page by page.
Batches up to roughly 60 MB are supported, which covers typical document work. Because processing happens locally, speed depends on your device rather than a server queue.
